AnswerDear Javaria,
Congratulations on being a Mom! Some women do have a terrible time trying to lose weight after childbirth--hang in there and it will come off.
First I must clarify, there is absolutely no way to choose from where the weight will come off. If you gained weight in your belly, then it might come off from there--but it might not.
Since I have no idea how or what you eat, I can only give you general advice: Try to remember how you ate when you weighed 50 kg... what are you doing differently now? Did you get into a new snacking habit during your pregnancy? Or get used to eating larger portions? Desserts?
The first things to give up from your diet are those that have calories but little nutrition: cakes, pies, dressings, cookies, sweetened drinks, etc.
It is often helpful to keep a food diary--write down everything you eat and drink and within a few days it will become apparent where during the day you are overeating.
Good luck, hang in there, and let me know if I can help you out during this journey.
