QuestionI am an 18 year old male, about 185 5"10. I need to gain healthy weight around my shoulders and upper chest. when i try losing weight, it all seems to come from this area, leaving chub on my stomach and sides, as well as my butt. I'd like to be able to keep this healthy weight on my shoulders, at the same time losing weight around other areas. Are there foods i should or should not eat to help me with this? Do you have any idea as to how i should go about this?
AnswerIts easier to focus on ONE goal at a time - either losing fat or building muscle. It's VERY hard to do both. I usually recommend burning off the fat first, then trying to build healthy muscle. As far as losing belly fat?br>
I get asked this question all the time. The bottom line is: you can't spot reduce belly fat. Just like you can't drain the deep end of a pool first, you can't reduce belly fat until all of the rest of the fat is off your body.
