Red meat and inflammation

Question
Do you have an opinion on red meat? I have found that the less of it I eat, the less muscle soreness I get, and also my belly doesnt feel as tight.Even if I eat the same amount or more calories.
Recently after going for several weeks over the winter with no red meat, and noticing my belly shrinking and my muscles feeling less stiff after exercising, I 'backslid' with BBQ season! and began eating burgers, steak. To counteract this I started walking a lot more. Now I am really sore and bloated in the morning. Is this 'acidosis'? I have a feeling if I go back to chicken and fish I will feel better.
Thanks for your thoughts!

Answer
I'm am a firm believer in eating natures multivitamin, red meat.

I would look at a greater cause. What else did you change when you abstained from red meat or when you went back to it. Is it possible at the same time you started eating more simple carbs like breads sugars etc with them and less green veggies. then with the chicken fish etc you ate less breads and sugars and more veggies?

thats what I would look at first.

also did you train more when eating red meat. training in and of itself will naturally cause soreness and inflammation which is not a bad thing its an adaptation and healing response. But the bloating i think comes from other food choices.
