QuestionI used to have good appetite and eat alot and when I want to. But now I dont know why my appetite lowered. I eat less and sometimes I feel like I can spend the whole day without eating and still not getting hungry. I want to eat more althought I eat normal amounts of food because I want to gain weight. Im not underweight or anorexic I just want to gain weight. Can you give me any tips?
AnswerHonestly Ivan some times we all just have to man up and eat more. Many times the eating is the hardest part of gaining weight and muscle. Its not an easy thing and can be very uncomfortable.
I would suggest a few things, make sure your primary food sources are very dense. Lower the amounts of very fiberous green fruits and veggies that lack high calorie content. They should play a smaller role in your eating when trying to gain and having problems. Load up on dense fatty meats, nuts oils eggs other fats, and simple easily digested carbs that will pack a punch and be digested very quickly.
The next thing make sure you hydrated, water!! many times you can actually slow digestion by not taking in enough fluids.
Third, its something you can try and Ive heard from colleagues that there is new evidence behind. If your a large man 250lbs plus and training hard you might try taking a few grams of glutamine a few times a day to try and aid your intestine health.
other then that there are tons of digestion aids etc but i have never seen a thing from them I would try the first two suggestions above possible the third if you fit that mold and other then that man up and make yourself eat more.
