Hello sir... I am a 40 yrs old female... mother of two... My weight always ranged between 50-55 Kgs and never had passion for eating... u can say I eat to survive... but lately after i weaned my second kid which was like one year ago... i started having severe anorexia.. i consume large amounts of coffee... I always did... but lately this is the only thing I am capable of swallowing...I can go for 3 days without eating at all.. may be a couple of biscuits... or a piece of chocolate... but nothing more... I never feel hungry.... and whenever i see food i feel i am so full that i cannot even swallow it... the point is this started with no good reason... i lost 13 Kgs in 3 months... I was 60 Kgs when i had my last kid... which was stable for the two years of lactation but ever since that anorexia thing started i lost 13 kgs and now I am 47 Kgs... Ok I always hated being fat as usually when i gain weight the fat is concentrated in my buttocks... but I never thought of myself as fat... Though I like being slim... I am worried coz I do not like the way my face looks so pale and tired... and if this keeps on I wonder if I will lose even more weight.... Oh... when this started... I have to tell u... I had no psychological problems or depression or nothing... I was totally fine... it just happened all of a sudden... with no clear reason... what can I do to be able to eat... and stop losing more weight and also to regain some vitality to my skin... i do not want to be an old lady at my forties... Hi Mona,

First of all I want to thank you for sharing this with us and having the courage to ask for advice/help.

One of the things, that is important for you to get back, is the joy of food and experiencing what good food does to you. Not only it can be joyful to eat, it is also essential and vital for good health and survival. The beauty about looking after our selves is that it will give us long lasting energy and we will feel and look great.

For you to treat yourself well, you also have to believe you deserve it and a simple exercise for that is to look in the mirror every morning and looking yourself in the eyes and tell yourself "I love you!" (because everyone is worthy of love). It might be a bit of a challenge in the beginning, but it is also a very powerful exercise which will have a strong impact on your self worth.

Looking at how you have been treating your body recently, I suggest to create a healthy environment again to start with. With that I mean your inside environment. When we don't eat/drink healthy, we create a toxic environment and will lose energy/vitality and  eventual create disease. You want to alkalize your body to regain health feel better and regain your suitable body weight.

To do that I will give you an easy 6 step 10 day challenge. Do it for 10 days, see how you look and feel and your life will never be the same again.

1.) Super hydrate - drink 2 liters of water a day (It will cleanse your body, getting ride of any unwanted waste and toxins)
2.) Set a daily intention for the day - Something that you would like to get out of the day, can be just one word, for example Fun or Courage or Clarity.
3.) Ensure that 70% of your diet contains water content live foods, such as vegetables (preferable lots of green)
4.)Create a gratitude list - make a list of things that you are grateful for. And spend 10 minutes in the morning in a quiet meditation, reflecting on that list.
5.)Exercise for at lease 15min a day (cardiovascular)- do something that makes your heart beat faster, while you can still hold a conversation.
6.)Take 10 minutes every evening, before you go to sleep to adding at least 2 more things to you gratitude list.

It might be a bit different from what you expected, but please do it and you'll be amazed by the results.
