AnswerDear Aurax,
It depends on too many things to offer you a simple answer.
1. The diet you are on - is it a low carb one? What type of carbohydrate do you exclude?
2. The purpose of your dieting - do you have metabolic problems?
4. Are you sedentary and if not, what is your exercise routine?
5. What if your body composition (body fat percent)?
6. What is your fitness level?
Because if you restrict your overall carbohydrate intake to take advantage of limiting the process of glycolysis in favor of lipolysis (burning your body fat for fuel) - you better limit it to well under 100 g a day while excluding simple carbs completely.
If you have metabolic problem(s) like insulin resistance, body fat concentration around your middle, cardiovascular conditions, to name just a few, the diet should be even stricter plus, you must work hard increasing your fitness level to be able to do the high-intensity interval workouts. Adding weight training would allow you to indulge in more carb-rich meals.
