QuestionHello, I started the Atkins diet a couple of weeks ago and I have a hard time finding the right thing to order at restaurants. I am scared I am ordering things with carbs. Is there an easy way of remembering what is okay to order?

At a very general level, you can follow these rules:
1. Don't eat white things
2. Don't eat items with gravy or sauces on them
3. Don't eat anything with bread or breaded in the name
This is a very general start to knowing what to order at a restaurant. Your best bet is to look up the restaurant's nutritional data on the web before going. When this is not possible, you can order a standard chef salad with regular (not light) bleu cheese or ranch dressing on the side for dipping. If you are not in the mood for a salad and cannot look up the restaurants nutrition data, then follow the rules above.
