Right, well here's the good news.... you already know that diets don't work, so I don't have to convince you of that. You've already discovered that if you go on diets - while they may help you lose weight in the short term, they change your body composition which means you'll inevitably gain back all the weight you've lost plus extra once the motivation has disappeared. (You've already got the evidence of this) I'm going to give you the URL's to a couple of pages, that when you use them all together will give you a natural, weight loss plan - no pills or magical cures.
Chavela - I want to tell you something I discovered after being anorexic and spending 20 years of my life dieting. I thought that if I could just control my eating, all my weight problems would disappear. Then I discovered that, in actual fact, that just made me way more food obsessed. Here's what I really discovered, it wasn't about food and eating, it was about not loving myself sufficiently enough to make loving choices.... I'd highly recommend that you do this 3 minute a day visualization exercise which will help you realize what am amazingly special and beautiful person you are because it'll make your journey so much easier.

http://www.ditch-diets-live-light.com/basal-metabolic-rate.html (will help you understand why exercise is so important - this isn't something you'll find anywhere). You say you already enjoy exercise, so that's good, the biggest thing is to do exercise consistently, and not too start off being too unrealistic. Find ways to make is sustainable and fun.

The other thing is that instead of relying on a scale (they can be very misleading), take some string and take a measurement of your chest, the area where your belly button is central, our hips and one of your thighs. Mark which one is for each measurement and stick them up in your cupboard and then check how you're doing every month.
Chavela, I want to suggest you do something else as well - you obviously need some support, find yourself an online support group - you're welcome to find mine at http://www.ditch-diets-live-light.com . The more your participate, the more support and encouragment you'll receive... and that can help a lot if you aren't getting the family support you need.
Good luck Chavela, and check in with me and let me know how your'e doing.
With kind regards
