Questionhey i have noticed that i eat when i'm bored and i believe that, that is a big contributor to my overweight condition. i have this theory considoring the strech marks on my arms and lower belly, i am not nearly as fat as other teens at my school but why am i getting strech marks???? i believe my body is not meant to be fat, as if i was not meant to be fat

AnswerEating when bored means that you are participating in the activity of eating, to pass the time away. Hobbies are a way of filling time to alleviate boredom. Another way is service to community. As a teen it is possible to volunteer time at a local hospital or animal shelter or places that will accept teens for volunteer service. Hobbies, such as arts and crafts, or music, can be a way to fill time to help alleviate the boredom. Maybe just taking a walk or doing a physical activity, like stretching, yoga, bicycle riding, etc. Just think of something you like to do, that can fill the boredom and alleviate the urge to eat. The question to ask yourself is; "how can I find a healthy way to alleviate my boredom without eating?" Asking that question, you will find the answer.
