best weight loss plan
Hi Amafah
There are many things to take into account such as your frame/bone size. According to my calculations 56 kgs is 124 pounds (you); and 65 kgs is 143 pounds (your mom). Now according to height and weigh tables
A mature woman of 5' 3" should weight 111-124 lbs (for a small frame)
121-135 lbs (medium frame)
131-147 lbs (large frame)
These are weight for adults. However, as an adolescent what you need to know is that round about the age you are now, you go through a fat spurt (it may have started even earlier than this). This is your biology preparing your body for womanhood - you need a higher percentage of body fat for your menstrual cycle to begin and for your body to work properly.
I know though that this is also a time when you're probably very body conscious so I'm going to suggest that you and your Mom to something together that doesn't entail dieting.
Follow these 10 simple steps: http://www.ditch-diets-live-light.com/summer-body.html
And make sure the two of you are doing some exercise -but be sure to make it fun: http://www.ditch-diets-live-light.com/exercise-fun.html
And instead of becoming frantic about your weight, just follow those steps and you'll both lose weight if you need to. It does sound though that you might be taller than the average 13 year old.
Kind regards
Cari
