QuestionFor 7 months I have been gaining 2-3 lbs./month.I have NOT changed my eating habits-I eat the same things every day for bfast, lunch and dinner-all of a sudden I started gaining after getting down to a size 4-I am now a 10 and I am afraid I will gain all of my weight back.Is there any reason for this?I dont't snack or eat any "junk" food.
AnswerIt is not unusual at the 2 year mark to have some "bounceback" weight. Most RNY patients
have a bounceback of 15% to 20% of their weight loss.
Your body is not malabsorbing calories anymore so it is as if you are taking in more than you need.
You can track through FITDAY.com.
Or use weight training to increase muscle mass, which will raise your resting metabolism. Raise
your metabolism and you CAN eat more or the same calories and still lose or maintain.
