Daniella’s Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
March 2007.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I was watching a video of me dancing at a wedding with my family and didn’t realize how out of control my weight had gotten until I saw it on-screen. It was my turning point and jump-start to lose weight.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I joined Weight Watchers and started working out EVERYDAY without fail. I cut fast food, I quit smoking and started living a healthier lifestyle.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
The first month was the hardest because I wasn’t seeing or feeling any results. Getting motivated and staying consistent to your goal takes a lot of discipline.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
I started seeing actual results in about 2 months.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
10 months.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I still go to the gym, but instead of 7 days a week, I usually can juggle 4-5. I started drinking LOTS and LOTS of water. Cut sodas and drinks with too much sugar! I’m still doing Weight Watchers as well.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
MY CONFIDENCE has skyrocketed. I’m having fun with my friends, I have a blast shopping, and dating has become more of an enjoyment than a chore I try to avoid. I’m much more positive and people now come to me for advice on how to lose weight!
How did ShapeFit help you reach your weight loss goals?
Staying motivated and seeing that I’m not the only one reaching for this goal. I know I’m not the only one out there struggling with this. It makes me stay positive and motivated!

Weight loss tip #1:
Stay positive and motivated.
Weight loss tip #2:
Exercise is a MUST.
Weight loss tip #3:
Set mini goals for yourself and a deadline for each.
Weight loss tip #4:
Be selective with what you eat but allow yourself a treat here and there. You deserve it!
Weight loss tip #5:
Make sure you’re doing this for YOURSELF. It’s the only way you’ll be able to keep it effective!
Daniella’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!
Breakfast:
Cereal, oatmeal or a fruit salad.
Lunch:
Light pastas, chicken with low amounts of carbs. Since I workout heavy, I need carbs, but only during the day. Salads with chicken and Smart One Meals.
Dinner:
Very light. Salads and or chicken or fish. I get home late so I try to keep my dinners as light as possible. I will however drink a lot of water and eat fruit.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
None.

Weight Training:
I currently do not weight train.
Cardiovascular:
Running 2 miles 3-4 days a week. Cardio kickboxing and Muay Thai training 5-6 days a week for 1-2 hours a day.
