Raduca’s Weight Loss Story!

When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I was unhappy with my weight since I was a child. All my life, I was trying to be a person of normal weight but it was in vain. When I was 9 years old, I weighed about 100 pounds and at age 15 I was 190 pounds. At the end of the college, I weighed 250 pounds. The worst situation I encountered when I was 27 and I weighed 350 pounds. My health was seriously damaged. Most of my life I was searching for MY MOTIVATION. From 2003 to the end of 2005, I had no job and nobody wanted to hire a really fat person (the worst part of my life).

What made you decide to lose weight?
THE MOTIVATION came at the end of 2005 (December 28). At that time I felt I was in love with a woman so deeply that I told her what I was feeling. The rejection and her reaction was so hard and so shocking for me that I decided that the life I lived since that moment was not a LIFE. So I decided to change myself. I was so determined and I lost 140 pounds in 1 year.

What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
The motivation. You have to find a goal and a purpose. Once you have it, you focus on it and you leave nobody and nothing to distract you from reaching it.

What was most challenging about losing weight?
The refrigerator!

How long did it take you to start to see results?
A couple of months. I noticed some results but I was still not happy.

How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
1 year. From December 2005 until December 2006.

How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
Since 2006 and now I have a pretty good body 🙂

How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I have never imagined that life could be so beautiful. All my life I was fat, seriously fat. Because of that fat, I never had a real girlfriend. In 27 years I had sex just once (when I was 18). Right now I feel incredible! I have had such success and I still can’t believe I did it! I can’t describe in words what I feel even now.

Raduca’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!

Everything I eat is based on vegetables and fruits. I like to cook, so I cook all my own food. I really don’t have a food schedule or time when I eat. I just eat whenever I’m hungry. Up until I was 27 years old, I lived to eat. I finally decided to start changing myself completely. I now eat to live.

I recommend not eating heavy food after 6pm. Here in Craiova, Romania, the living style is very simple. Craiova is not a big city like New York or Las Vegas, so I really don’t need to schedule my meals. I think if you’re a working person who is very busy, you can make your own personal schedule for eating meals.

I try to eat 100% natural food that is not fabricated in a lab. Natural food is the best thing you can do for your health When you need something sweet, just eat some fruit or some natural honey.
