Aaron’s Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I was overweight my whole life and decided to do something about it.
What made you decide to lose weight?
One day I decided I was tired of being fat and did something about it.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Working out and watching what I ate.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Getting my lazy butt off the couch and watching what I ate. It was normal for me not to workout and eat whatever I wanted because I did not care that I was big.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
It took a while. I lost 30 pounds in the first month but I was driven to see myself more fit so I put a mental block in my mind and did not begin to see results for about a month or so.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
6 months. I’m telling my story today (1/4/2011) and its been exactly six months.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I’m currently still losing weight. I have about 20 more pounds to go.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
People who I have not seen in a while, do not recognize me when they first see me! I also feel like I get more respect because I’m not the “fat guy” anymore.
How did ShapeFit help you reach your weight loss goals?
I saw all of the on ShapeFit.com and it motivated me to keep going because there are other people out there doing it too.
Aaron’s Weight Loss Tips!
Weight loss tip #1:
Have a good mindset about it. Do not think “I want to do it”, think “I have to do it”.
Weight loss tip #2:
Stay strong. The results will come so be patient.

Get support from your family and friends. Having people by your side really helps.
Weight loss tip #4:
Count calories!

Find something to motivate you. It can be anything, just find that one thing that drives you to be better.
Aaron’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!
Breakfast:
Yogurt, granola, egg whites, peanut butter and banana.
Lunch:
Fruit and vegetables, salad, grilled chicken breast.
Dinner:
Chicken breast, vegetables, salad with low-calorie dressing and dried cranberries.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Nuts, protein shakes, fruit, granola.
Aaron’s Weight Loss Workouts!
Weight Training:
Back and biceps, chest and triceps, shoulders and traps, abs and legs. Most of the time, I weight train Monday through Thursday in that order.
Cardiovascular:
At least 30 minutes of cardio 6 days a week. I do abs and pushups after every cardio workout.
