Adrianne’s Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
When I tipped the scale at 270 pounds on February 22, 2012.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I could not continue being uncomfortable in my own skin. I avoided taking pictures and wearing certain clothing because it made me look big.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Drinking water, becoming more active and eating better.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Staying on track when I wanted to eat all the wrong foods.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
About a month into my journey, I started seeing my face slim down a lot.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
8 months.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
All eight months. I run three to four times a week, strength train once a week, drink half my body weight in water, eat three meals a day consisting of spinach salads and fish. I snack on apples as well.
What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?
I am motivated by my son. I want to prevent any health alignments that will keep me from raising him.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
Losing weight has made me enjoy living and loving life again. I am no longer ashamed to go out and meet new people.
Do you have any advice for others who are trying to lose weight?
Do not give up on your goal. This is a life long change and journey. You will have good and bad days but rejoice in them, learn from them and continue to work until you reach your goal.

Spinach salad with carrots, cucumber, onions, broccoli, 4 ounces of chicken breast or fish, apple, 32 ounces of water.
Dinner:
Sweet potato, 4 ounces of chicken or fish, spinach salad with carrots, cucumber, onions, broccoli, 32 ounces of water.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Apples, trail mix.
Nutritional Supplements:
Daily women’s vitamins.

Weight Training:
Chest press (45 lbs), arm lifts (15 lbs), leg lifts (90 lbs), lunges (bodyweight), squats (bodyweight).

I run 3-4 miles, three to four times a week and play basketball.
