When did you become unhappy with your weight?
When my weight went above 145 pounds, I wasn’t looking good at all and my clothes were getting tighter every day.
What made you decide to lose weight?
A desire to get fit and be healthy. Also a desire to wear nice clothes and adopt a better lifestyle.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I totally changed my diet and the timing of my meals. I also included exercising as a party of my daily routine.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Losing inches and toning up my skin.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
2 months.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
4 months.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
Its been 2 months since my weight loss and I have been able to maintain it by following a healthy diet and exercise program.
What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?
The compliments I receive everyday along with shopping and the new healthy lifestyle that I now follow.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I have a schedule now. Earlier, I never used to care about time. It keeps me focused on my work as well. I feel very active and confident. Before, I was very conscious about myself and I used to avoid getting noticed in a crowd but now I look for opportunities to show off!
Do you have any advice for others who are trying to lose weight?
Try your best to be focused and don’t lose hope. The results will take time to show up, so you need to stay focused on your plan. Learn to say no to tempting foods like cheese and alcohol. It will take time but once you start losing weight, it is the best feeling ever!

Drink at least 3 liters of water every day.

Walk briskly for 45 minutes every day.

Eat a salad before every meal.

Whenever you’re hungry, drink some water before you eat.
Weight loss tip #5:
Try to get some exercise every day.

Breakfast:
Muesli (uncooked rolled oats, fruit and nuts), 2 slices of brown bread, milk.
Lunch:
Two pieces of chapati (flatbread) and curry.
Dinner:
Two pieces of chapati (flatbread), curry and dal (dried lentils, peas or beans).
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Marigold biscuit, honey, sprouts, milk, eggs, fruits.
Nutritional Supplements:
I don’t take any supplements.
