Chris’s Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I became very unhappy with my weight when simple things such as walking and moving around would cause me to lose breath and become exhausted very easily. It also was very discouraging when buying clothing because of my heavy weight.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I looked in the mirror one day and was completely disgusted with what I saw and from that day on I decided to take action to become healthy.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
The most important change was my diet. The cleaner I ate, the more weight I lost. Drinking a lot of water each day was also very important.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Getting out and exercising regularly was challenging at first but the more I did it, the more I loved it.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
Within two weeks of dieting and working out, I started to notice a big change in my body.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
15 months.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I have maintained my weight loss from the start of it a year ago. Proper nutrition was the key factor in my weight loss.
What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?
Seeing continuous results each week keeps me motivated to keep going and to strive for even better results.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
My life has changed in so many ways since beginning my weight loss journey. Physically I feel better than I’ve ever felt before. My confidence is at an all time high. It has created a big sense of self-worth.
Do you have any advice for others who are trying to lose weight?
My biggest advice to someone who is trying to lose weight is to set goals that you want to reach and most importantly to NEVER GIVE UP!

ShapeFit.com was very instrumental in my weight loss. I read a lot of the food recipes and use them. I also perform various workouts that are posted on the website.

Eat clean, nutrient foods. Proper nutrition is key!

Breakfast:
A few eggs, turkey bacon and/or whole grain cereal.
Lunch:
A lean meat such as chicken or steak with vegetables and whole grain bread.
Dinner:
Usually the same as lunch.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Fruits or any type of low-calorie foods.
Nutritional Supplements:
Multivitamins.
Chris’s Weight Loss Workouts!
Weight Training:
4 to 5 days per week of lifting using free weights, machines and other weighted equipment.
Cardiovascular:
3 to 5 days per week of at least 30 minutes of brisk walking, jogging or running.
