Fredylyn’s Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
After giving birth. I joined the gym but I wasn’t consistence because I was dealing with some relationship problems. At the same time, I had low self-esteem when my ex-boyfriend started fooling around. I felt ugly and undesirable.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I decided to lose weight to remind myself who I was. To be happy again and be confident.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I focused more about myself and my son. I used to think about how and why my relationship ended. I stopped blaming myself that it was my fault why it didn’t work out.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Not enough time each day. I was always rushing. I wake up at 4:30am to get ready for work at 6:45am then pick up my son at 3:30pm from the day care. I eat and feed my son at home before going to the gym at 4:30pm. I finished at 6pm. I give my son a bath then start making meals for the next day. It was tiring and stressful but I had to do it.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
About 4-6 weeks.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
4 months.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
Just 2 months now. After the competition (Bikini Model) I still make sure that I watch what I eat and make exercise a habit.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I definitely gained back my confidence. I feel happy that a lot of people supported me and believed in me through the whole process. They also say that what I did was motivating and inspiring.

Grilled chicken, cup of spinach.

Banana and protein shake, almonds, mini wheats, rice cakes, protein bar.
