Functions of Leptin

Leptin Resistance
In some cases, individuals may develop leptin resistance, where the body does not respond to leptin's signals effectively. This can lead to increased appetite, reduced energy expenditure, and impaired fat metabolism, contributing to weight gain and obesity.
Leptin resistance can occur due to various factors, including:
