Just talk to the average Amercian woman and she will inform you that she is not happy with herself or her weight. Yes, she might joke about her weight, but this is all that she can do until she commits to a change to get rid of the excess weight. Getting enough exercise and eating a balanced diet is the wisest method for getting rid of unwanted fat. But because she is so overweight, she cannot do physical activities without it hurting. Every time that she attempts to exercise, she loses her breath and it takes too long to recover.
As a result, this leads to a sedentary lifestyle that leads to hyppertension or type two diabetes. Medical conditions such as these are very expensive to treat. She has to spend for high medical bills and expensive medicines. Unfortunately, this is now cutting into her finances. She starts to get into a depressive mood because she does not have enough money to pay for the cost of her illness. She knows that she needs to lose weight, but she does not have the energy to do so. She also knows that obesity is affecting her lifestyle in a negative way. But, she is clueless as to how to commit to a change.
This type of scenario plays out for many different American women. Not only does obesity have such a bad impact on your body, but it starts to make you feel bad about yourself.
Obesity can lead to heart disease. Because of extra fat, your body's arteries will clogged up with plaque build-up. This will lead to a lack of oxygen rich blood to your heart. When too much of this plaque is present, it will cause a heart attack. In extreme circumstances, this build up of plaque can lead to heart failure.
Obesity also causes a stroke. Instead of causing a heart attack, the plaques break off into smaller pieces and turn into a blood clot. When this blood clot gets too close to your brain, it can create a blockage that cuts off the flow of oxygen. This will result in a stroke.
Obesity also results to an excess estrogen in your body. Not too many women are aware of this, but too much estrogen in your body can wreck havoc on your reproductive system. First, it can cause cancer. In addition, high levels of estrogen will elevate insulin production. This in turn will cause the production of more cancer cells in your body. Secondly, excess estrogen will throw your menstrual cycle out of whack. In order to ovulate every month, your body needs a balance of both estrogen and progesterone. When this balance is not right, you may experience temporary infertility. Obesity is one of the main reasons that many women cannot get pregnant. The only way to get your reproductive system back on track is to get rid of the extra pounds.
In conclusion, obesity will make you live in a continuous cycle that may be hard to get out of.
