How to Do a Dumbbell Pullover:

The dumbbell pullover is an effective isolation exercise that works the muscles of the chest and back. It is a compound exercise that requires coordinated movement from your shoulders, arms, and core muscles.

To perform a dumbbell pullover:

1. Lie flat on your back on a bench with your feet flat on the floor.

2. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with your palms facing each other.

3. Extend your arms up towards the ceiling, keeping the weights in front of your face.

4. Slowly lower the weights down to the sides of your body until your arms are straight and your elbows are locked out.

5. Squeeze your back muscles at the bottom of the movement and hold for a second.

6. Slowly raise the weights back to the starting position.

Repeat for 8-12 repetitions.

Tips for performing the dumbbell pullover:

- Keep your back flat on the bench throughout the movement.

- Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the top of the movement.

- Control the weight on the way down and up.

- Do not let the weights touch the ground.

- Start with a light weight and gradually increase the weight as you get stronger.

The dumbbell pullover is a challenging exercise, but it is a great way to build muscle mass and strength in your chest and back.
