Hi I’m a mother of one child. My height is 5.2 and my weight was 11 stone 4. I was this weight before my pregnancy and 3 years after my pregnancy. I tryed a few different slimming clubs and only lost a few pounds nothing really worked. I hated exercise. My weight loss triggered when I decided to give up smoking. I was so frightened to put more weight on that I then started to be aware of what I was eating. I had been at a slimming club for a while and they gave me a 1/2 stone award. I felt amazed and went on a role. The slimming club only took me so far. It slimmed me down a bit but I was still unhappy. I joined a local gym, started Bodyrocking and started to focus on diet and exercise. My fitness improved but I just stayed an estimated weight around 9 stone 9. That was ok but I was so obsessed with 6 pack abs probably because I have had a child. I started to eat clean. Then I realised that I had been doing it all wrong. I started to listen to my body and recognised what I needed. I found that I also had a gluten & dairy intolerant. I added healthy fats, minerals, vitamins, proteins into my diet. I focused on working out 3 or 4 times a week I focus on weights and short Intence cardio sessions. Now I’m down to about 8 stone 8. I have a child with type 1 diabetes so learning a lot about keeping blog glucose levels stable and eating regular helps be fuel my body. I like trying different challenges I have just completed a 5 hour spinnathon representing diabetes and I’m starting a sports and fitness coarse at university. Ready to become a personal trainer x
