Dieting and fitting exercise into your day can be challenging to say the least. You do not have to grasp all of them at one time but they are very simple rules that will help you reach your goal easier and faster.
旻irst things first, Eat Breakfast every day. This has been proven time and time again, your body will work better and your metabolism will be higher if you eat breakfast.
旳s long as we are on eating and metabolism, never skip a meal. You may think you are cutting calories, and you are, however you will also slow your metabolism down by doing this. Your body will try to start saving energy and calories in anticipation of not getting food on a regular basis.
旹at more often. There have been many studies that show those that eat 4 6 small meals throughout the day have less fat on their body that those that eat 2 3 times per day. In some of the studies, both groups of people ate the same amount of calories. You should concentrate on having lean proteins with carbohydrates about every 3 hours.
旹at lots of protein. You should eat enough protein to support your activity level. (You should be exercising). Protein is much less likely to be converted into fat than other foods.
旹at lots of vegetables. It is nearly impossible to overeat on vegetables. They are good for you and high in nutrition as well as being high fiber which will help you feel full longer.
旸rink lots of water. Most of us are dehydrated on a regular basis. Try to drink around a gallon per day. If you drink caffeinated soda or coffee, you need even more water to keep hydrated. If you are exercising, you will need even more fluids. Your body works better when it is happy and hydrated.
旾ncrease your activity level. You must do more to burn more. Walking is an excellent way to burn fat and it is enjoyable. You should strive to walk at least 30 minutes per day. You should walk to places that are close instead of driving. You should take the stairs at the office or at the department store rather than the elevator. The stairs are better for you than pushing a button. Do outdoor activities, do more gardening, or take up gardening, it is excellent exercise.
