Blaming your injury for not being able to get in a good workout is usually just a cop out. More than likely the elliptical will be able to provide you with a great opportunity to get in a good workout and you need to take advantage of this.

Third, after you step on the machine you should choose a program that you are going to work at. You will be surprised when you first start pushing yourself on the pedals because you will find that it may be harder than you previously thought it was.

When you increase the resistance or the incline on the machine you will be able to adjust the intensity of your workout. The better you get on the machine the more you should use these settings to get a good workout.

You can get very skilled at pumping your legs and moving your lower body without disturbing your upper body. Hopefully, if you can do this you will be in good enough shape to keep your spot on the team when you are healthy.
