You should increase your physical activity as much as possible. So instead of taking the lift or elevator, you should try to climb the stairs. You can walk down to the shopping mall for making your purchases, you can walk your dog several times during the day, and you can have been brisk walks in the nearby park in the mornings and evenings.

You should also have an effective and the result oriented exercise regimen that consists of both cardio you and weight training exercises. Cardio exercises like swimming, jogging and brisk walking should be done in the early morning hours because you also get the benefit of fresh and unpolluted air in the wee hours of the mornings. However, the disadvantage with Cardio exercises is that they also burn your muscles.
