If you are in the right area, a kayak or canoe can be a wonderful addition to your lifestyle. The idea is to find enjoyable pursuits that make you happy but just happen to be healthy. Swimming is a great outing and you feel lighter in water anyway.
The truth is that you need to lighten up your attitude, have some fun, and eat better versions of your favorite snacks and meals. It makes sense to row a boat, join a fun walk for a good cause, ride a bike, or take a dip in the lake. You will feel better physically but most people will talk about being in a better mood.
As the weeks and months go by you will notice that people you have not seen awhile are noticing a change in you. They may sidle up next to you asking for the secret to your successful weight loss. Just smile and invite them to go for a walk.
