Learn How to Lose That Fat Safely & Easily & Avoid Any Weight Loss Plateaus!

     Have you reached a weight loss plateau and left feeling jaded and unhappy as a result? Sadly, this does happen to a lot of dieters but don't worry as there are some good ways of breaking through your problems and achieving the kind of weight loss you truly desire. Before we go there, though, we need to look at exactly what a weight loss plateau actually is. After all, it is important to know what and why a problem arises before we go about tackling it!

Simply put, a weight loss plateau is when we are adhering to that calorie restricted diet and keeping up with the exercise regime but alas, the weight suddenly stops coming off. The reason why this happens is because your body (like my body and other people's bodies) starts to ADAPT. You see, your body doesn't want to lose it's fat - in fact it wants to hold onto it just in case, heaven forbid, there is a famine and it can call upon its fat reserves in order to keep you alive longer. Therefore, when you give it less calories your body thinks that you are starving it and starts to take measures against you by, for example, slowing down your metabolism and making sure that you burn less calories on a daily basis.

The above said, there are some excellent ways you can try to outsmart your body by getting it to burn more calories faster and so bust through that plateau and have you slim and smiling in next to no time. Please consider the following in order to try to do just that.

Have a Cheat Day

This is the first thing you are advised to do as it should trick your body into thinking that is has come off that diet and so prompt it to burn extra calories over the next couple of days. Therefore, if you feel that your weight loss is slowing down then a cheat day could actually save the day at the end of the day! Just remember though not to use this approach so as to be able to eat the kind of foods you really like eating and don't overdo it!

Have more than one form of exercise

Dieters should never do the same form of exercise two days running. Therefore, if you choose to go on the elliptical trainer one day then go for the treadmill the next. Are you a gym bunny - then why not go for a swim the next day? You see the body needs to be constantly stimulated because otherwise it will simply adapt (again) to a particular routine and not so many calories will be burnt. Instead, it needs to undergo different exercises so that it continually and positively responds to them day in day out, thus making your weight loss objectives so much easier!

Adopt a Diet Cycle

As well as having an odd cheat meal here and there (as we all do!) consider having a two week diet plan in order to trick your body into thinking it is coming off that diet by giving it a break. In doing so you should be prompting it to burn more calories as outlined above and thus prevent that dreaded diet plateau mentioned earlier. All you need to do is diet for two weeks and take the third week off - simple as that! Also, this cycle can be repeated for as long as is necessary until the desired weight loss results are achieved.

By adopting some of the above weight loss techniques I am convinced that your weight loss success should really soar - as has my own!
