There are a lot of books out they tell you right away that you should affirm your weight. Just tell yourself 20 times a day "I am the right weight and I feel great" or more on a larger scale, (no pun intended!) "My life runs better every day".
It's a good thing to affirm or to visualize something, it's another thing to create it.
I want to give you some advice in this newsletter on how you can create your weight, and why you should not affirm your
weight.
Did you ever look at yourself in the bathroom mirror and say "I am the prettiest person and I look wonderful.?"
Then, did you tell yourself the same thing when you saw your reflection in the kitchen refrigerator? This is all affirmation and if you speak it often enough, you think that the content of the note should manifest.
I want to ask you something. If you are invited to a person's house whom you don't know, and in his house you see five big notes on the wall with the content "I am rich". Do you think this person is rich? No, this person is not rich.
This person is trying to get rich.
Did you ever meet a person who has reached his or her goals with affirmation?
I myself tried it years ago for a number of months and it didn't worked out. Actually it was a waste of time and energy!
So how do I create my ideal weight? It's actually so simple that most people have difficulty with it. We often make things too complicated, and then they don't happen.
I, myself, found out that the easiest things are often the most effective.
In some of the past issues of this newsletter, I spoke about the mind and its phenomenal ability to create and manifest everything that we experience in our life.
To create something, you have to define the parameters by which you will create. Are you creating for yourself, for your partner or for things in the real world? Not being clear about your creation is the biggest reason people are not successful in creating what they say they want!
Creating for Yourself:

If you create for yourself, you have to deal with your viewpoints, beliefs, emotions and thoughts. Successful operation on this level is achieved by acquiring the ability to manage these mental creations.
The sum of all these mental creations is also called the Mind.
So instead of believing that you are too fat, you should believe that you have the right weight. The moment you change your belief to a new one, new thoughts and emotions are manifested about that belief.
You can deal with these thoughts and emotions with your mind. Bring the belief under your control, allow it to be, feel it, and than decide to stop it.
The basic goal is to start with the universe of yourself, because that will effect your body, your environment and everything else. If you have beliefs that don't support you, every diet or weight loss program will not work. This is because you are creating against it.
Creating for the Physical Universe:

After you have changed your beliefs, you are moving into the realm of the physical universe. In this domain, you are dealing with space, substance, tendency, motion and time.
Creating in this domain means creating with a sense of time and space. A good creation that will support you could be "I weigh 120 pounds at the end of the year and I maintain that weight".
Be really aware of what you create, and be specific!
What do you think will happen with the creation of "I have the ideal weight" or "I will have the ideal weight?" In our first example, we are missing the specific weight. What is the ideal weight for you? In the second example you are creating a strong "I will" statement and nothing else.
Let me tell you a true story, and it will show you that you should be very specific in your creation.
Someone created "I am always surrounded with plenty of money". Six weeks later, he had already forgotten his creation.
Guess what happened?
He found a new job as a driver for a security company that delivers money from one bank to another! Yes, he was surrounded by plenty of money, however, it was not his own!
As a part of this creation process, you will spontaneously get some other thoughts and emotions popping into your head. For example: "I am a loser, I will not reach this goal" or "I don't want to follow another diet".
All of these beliefs and emotions will only block your ability to create. You have to handle this with the way I described for the universe of yourself.
It all begins in your universe!
You should come up with a plan that you are able to follow to reach your goal. If you have any doubts about it, or still have beliefs going on that block creation, they should be handled.
A creation will manifest when you have no doubts about it. You say it and it will be. That's actually the difference between affirmation and creation. With the affirmation you don't create you just say it.
The process of creation will handle the doubts and then change your universe and also change the physical universe. If the creation is in process, you should feel an increase of energy and also feel good about reaching your new goal.
I also would like to encourage you to keep on going. Never give up! Success will come if you follow your goal. It may take time, but you will reach it.
