Feel Your Way to Weight Loss

"Understanding your own guidance system is the only key to successful life in this physical experience." - Abraham-Hicks

Your emotions are guidance from Source to let you know when you're in the process of attracting what you want or what you don't want. Through your emotions, you can connect with Source to receive guidance on every issue in your life, including the physical conditions of your body. If a thought feels bad, it's a warning that you're attracting something you do not want. When you notice how your thoughts feel and choose thoughts that feel good, you can feel your way to weight loss -- and everything else you desire.

If you've ever gotten discouraged about not being able to torture yourself with diets and exercise, take heart. If you can't do these things, it means you're determined to feel good. FEELING GOOD is the path to your ideal body -- not suffering. When you feel good, you're attracting what you DO want. When you feel bad, you're attracting what you DO NOT want.

Case Study #1. "I've been a model since I'm 17. I've always eaten like a truck driver and I've always weighed 100 pounds. Now, at age 47, I weigh 111. I know this doesn't sound heavy to most people, but, for me, it's uncomfortable. What happened? Well, two years ago, my world fell apart. My father died and I was surrounded by unhealthy relationships with my mother, my agents, my boyfriend, even my girlfriends. I went on Weight Watchers and I tried the Stillman diet (basically meat and water). I started depriving myself of the foods I really love and I lost touch with my inner guidance. I sort of forgot who I was. By tuning in to my emotions, I remembered I can eat what I like - even brownies for breakfast! Eating what feels right to me rather than following some external guidelines makes all the difference for me. In one month of going back to what feels right to me, I'm already down to 106 and I feel 100 pounds calling my name." - Kelley

In researching the healthiest way to eat, I found that there was only one food that all "experts" agreed on - the lemon. It seems that everyone is in favor of lemons, but after that, no one agrees on anything. Rather than choosing what to eat based on external "authorities," choose your food by how it makes you feel to eat it. Always choose what feels good TO YOU. This applies to food as well as everything else in your life.

Case Study #2. "I got it that I have weight problems because I haven't been following my passion. I've been working a job I hate because the money is good. I thought, 'omygosh, what have I been doing to myself just following the money?' With that realization, I decided to love myself and be good to myself and follow my passion. I had been a listless couch potato due to fatigue. Now that I'm in a job that thrills me, I have more energy and my husband and my little boy and I go swimming, biking, and rollerblading again. Now that I'm in a job I'm excited about, I care more about what I eat and the candy bars I used to live on have lost their appeal. I'm content with a couple of bites now rather than a couple of bars and the pounds are melting away." - Claire

Here's the take-away message on the subject of weight loss and emotions: Feel your way! The way to know if a particular food is right for you is by the way it feels. If it feels good, it IS good. If it feels bad, it IS bad. It really is that simple. You can feel your way to your ideal body and your ideal life.
