Save weight loss doesn’t come as a supplement in a can or bottle. Safe weight loss is all natural. There will be nothing artificial about it. It’s something you need to do every day to lose weight to get to your intended weight. And, you keep doing it to maintain your intended weight.
You’ll almost certainly need to make adjustments to your lifestyle to practice safe weight loss. It is essentially a way of life that slim, trim and energetic people practice. The difficulty is that most people who are overweight live in ways that cause them to be overweight. Their chosen lifestyle is ordinary and normal to them.
Does this mean that you have got to make adjustments to the way you eat and act in order to lose weight safely and permanently?
Yes, to change your weight you will have to make permanent changes to your life.
Genetically, a few people are disposed toward being overweight or being thin. However, for most people, their body weight is a result of lifestyle choices. To make the transition from overweight to slim, trim and energetic you’ll have to make some permanent lifestyle adjustments.
If you happen to be weary of being overweight, right now may be the time to get started making the necessary changes. Now let’s get started.
At the outset, overweight people eat excessive amounts of the wrong types of foods. Whether you understand it or not, if you are like most people you consume the equivalent of 22 teaspoons of sugar every single day. A great deal of this sugar gets stored as fat. You perhaps drink a lot of your sugar in soft drinks.
Abundant studies, states the Nation Institute of Health, have shown that sugar sweetened soft drinks are intimately associated with weight gain. Here are some of what the NIH reports on it’s website:
-“Higher consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages is associated with a greater magnitude of weight gain and an increased risk for development of type 2 diabetes in women, possibly by providing excessive calories and large amounts of rapidly absorbable sugars.”
– “Consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs), particularly carbonated soft drinks, may be a key contributor to the epidemic of overweight and obesity…”
But, sugars also come in lots of other forms. The preferred sugar of food manufacturers is high fructose corn syrup. If you look on almost any box containing manufactured food you’ll see a significant ingredient is high fructose corn syrup.
Probably by now you realize one solution. Stop consuming sugary beverages and stop consuming manufactured food laced with sweeteners. Instead shop on the periphery of the grocery store where natural fruits, vegetables, and meats are located. Add some dairy products and whole grain breads. Purchase more natural foods with no corn syrup and steer clear of products with plenty of added sugar.
