Getting a six pack abdomen is the dream of most men, but how many can see it getting fulfilled? Here are some exercises for you six pack dream.
6 pack abs have become ubiquitous on television and print media. It may seem like you need a professional trainer to help you acquire the dream shape that every Bolywood actor sports but with a proper approach you can do it yourself. Make sure you eat plenty of protein and cut down on unnecessary fat while you’re making the effort. Also perform abs exercises on an empty stomach and after a warm up. Including one or two stomach workouts is enough in a day’s routine.
This one never fails and works your entire abdomen muscle group. Lie flat on the ground with your knees bent. You can have someone hold your feet as they should remain stationary. Or you can slip them under a chair to keep them still. Now, with your hands behind your head lift your torso to the knees with your chin up towards the ceiling. It is important to keep the chin up otherwise you will strain your lower back.
Lie on an inclined long bench and hold the bars behind your head to keep yourself steady. Lift your legs towards the head as you keep facing the ceiling. Hold for a few seconds and return to the starting position. This will work your lower abs where fat tends to be the hardest.
Another classic variation of the ab crunch. Lie down flat on the ground with your knees bent. Fold your hands over your chest in a cross with your palms over your deltoids. Lift your upper body to touch your knees. Again remember to keep your head up and aim for the ceiling as you go.
Lie down in the same position holding a light dumbbell on your chest. Try to lift your upper body as much as you can by squeezing your abs. You don’t have to go all the way as you are weighed down but even a little movement will be very intense.
While working abs most men tend to ignore their obliques without realising that they are a major muscle group responsible for the cuts that frame your abs. If you do not perform oblique exercises you are not likely to achieve the six pack. Start by lying on your right side. Support your torso on the right elbow and keep the left foot onto the right. Make sure only the left side of your body is touching the ground. Now, using your side and squeezing in your abs lift yourself up as high as your body will allow you. It will be tough to balance yourself in the beginning but soon you will learn to do it effortlessly. Repeat as many times as you can and perform the same number of repetitions using your left side.
A flat stomach is attractive, if you can lose that weight and get to your core then you can achieve a six pack abdomen very easily. Try being the perfect man!
