Exercise, is it really important? Well for some, exercise has been part of their lives. Some people wouldn抰 start their day without taking their morning exercises such as jogging or as simple as stretching. Some are power hungry, or those that couldn抰 end a day without going to the gym, run a whole mile on a treadmill, or lifting heavy barbells / dumbbells to build up their muscles. But what is the true reason why we need to exercise?
Men try to build muscles to show off or just attract the women. Women may also have that same reason: to feel good about themselves and to attract guys. This is the reason why some people make it their habit to go to the gym and do weight loss exercise - to feel good on how they look on the outside. But some people don抰 have that kind of reasoning. That is why obesity has become an increasing disease in some countries, especially in the US.
Obesity is a condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to such an extent that health may be negatively affected. Obesity arises from too much energy intake: with a person's basal metabolic rate and level of physical exercise consideted. To put it simply, too much intake, too little outtake cause obesity.
So what抯 so scary about getting too much fat? Why? Is it because being fat wouldn抰 make you look good? No, that抯 not the reason why being fat is not good. Excessive body weight is associated with various diseases, particularly cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus type 2, obstructive sleep apnea, certain types of cancer, and osteoarthritis. And as a result, obesity has been found to reduce life expectancy.
You see, being fat doesn抰 only make you feel heavy and uneasy on the outside, but also heavy and uneasy on the inside. This is why weight loss exercise regiments have been formed by groups of people which are concerned of the growing population of the obese and the overweight.
Its important for you to make a decision, do you still want to look like Moby Dick and get struck by Capt. Ahab at the heart because of heart attack? Or do you want to take some weight loss exercise and look good inside and out after several months? It抯 your decision.
