A person should do exercise for about 30-45 minutes minimum daily. There are different types of exercise. You can choose any form of exercise according to your interest. If you don't know to select a good one then you can ask for the advice of a gym instructor or your friend. Jogging and walking are also some form of the exercise. You can join a gym and do weight exercise. The advantage of doing weight exercise is that it not only helps you to reduce your weight but also helps to gain a good shape to your body. But, you should start from the lowest weight and then increase the weight step by step.

Drink as much water as you can daily. This will help to remove the fat present in your body. It also removes the cholesterol present in your body. If you like green tea and red wine then you can drink them to reduce the weight. Green tea is good for the body and increases the metabolic rate. The antioxidants present in the green tea are good for the body. You can consume one cup of green tea daily. Red wine can be consumed one or two cups per week. Drinking these drinks alone will not help you to remove the excess weight. It can only act as an additional supplement.

If you are interested in activities like dancing or swimming then you can do these activities on a regular basis. It also helps to decrease your weight. Some people believe that fasting and skipping meals are good methods which will result in weight loss in a short period of time. But, it is not true. It will only have adverse effects on your health. So, avoid such unhealthy practises. It is unsafe also.
