Are you aware that your body has the ability to
burn fat while you sleep? As a matter of fact, the body has the natural ability to burn fats constantly 24 hours a day and the surprising thing is that the fat burning mode of the body is at its peak when we sleep. However, how fast the body can use the fat is dependent on the type of food we eat, how much we eat, how often we eat, and the type of activities we do physically.
So, how can you burn fat while you sleep and why is sleep essential in the natural burning of fats. Actually, sleep is not the main point here. It is actually the period between the time you finished your dinner and the time you have your breakfast the next day that is most important, and this just happens to include your typical night sleep. So how can you make this happen?
1. Mobilize Belly Fat
Excess fat is the stored fuel your body needs to put away to produce the energy you need. However, even after you finished eating dinner, your body still burns the food calories you just ate. Thus, if you avoid eating midnight snack, the calories from the food you ate on your dinner will be gone in just a few hours, at the time your body will start using the stored carbohydrate, from your liver and your muscle tissues, in the form of glycogen. Around 9 hours after you ate your dinner, the calories readily available from your previous meal, from the stored carbohydrate, and from the circulating fat, are more likely used up. This is now the right time for your body to start mobilizing the fat from the storage and start utilizing it for metabolism. This period of fat mobilization is when the body is supposed to naturally burn fat while you sleep.
2. Stimulate the Fat Burning Furnace of Your Body
You don't have to do anything to heat up your body's fat burning furnace but to eat breakfast about ten to twelve hours after you ate dinner. Ideally, when you eat breakfast, your body's fat burning furnace is already at its peak for approximately three hours, and this period is from 9 to 12 hours after you ate your dinner. That is what you actually need to optimize your metabolism to naturally burn fat while you sleep.
3. Do not Destruct your Prime Fat-burning Time with Bedtime Snacks
Having midnight snacks will not do you any good because they will only destruct the fat-burning time of your body. Because of the normal biochemistry, the body system and activities are easily interrupted. If this seems a big challenge for you, you may have to deal with some bad habits, improper lifestyle, or underlying health problems, because if you really want your body to burn fat while you sleep, you should be ready to allow your body to use the stored fats each night. This is the best way to stimulate the power of fat metabolism.
Now you may ask if you really can
burn fat while you sleep. The answer is yes; however, if you are suffering from health problems like thyroid deficiency, hormonal imbalance, diabetes, and others, it may hard for you to do it. The good news is that if you don't have any health problems, the only thing you have to do is to forget about poor food choices and poor lifestyle that can actually be changed if you are willing to do so.
