The TRX trainer is a relatively new piece of fitness equipment that focuses on using bodyweight to get a great workout. It's kind of surprising that something like this hasn't come out sooner but it's a really cool piece of fitness equipment. There are a ton of fancy fitness gadgets and infomercials out there that are promising the world for losing weight and getting six pack abs. But in this TRX trainer review I'm going to check it out with an open mind and see if it's actually worth the money.
The creator of the TRX trainer was a former U.S. Navy SEAL and he first was inspired to create it after looking for a piece of lightweight equipment that he could use to get a bodyweight workout while travelling. One of the highlights of the TRX trainer was that it's very lightweight and it comes with a really cool mesh bag that makes it easy to carry around. There are some other similar fitness equipment out there like the TRX suspension trainer that make you anchor it to a door, but with this one you can set it up pretty much anywhere that you wrap around it.
Any other large exercise machine that costs hundreds or even thousands of dollars can't match the versatility the TRX trainer brings to the table. As a personal trainer I've also noticed that you can easily use progressions with the TRX, which comes in handy, if you're training total beginners. But this TRX trainer isn't just for beginners because I can easily set it up and have a professional athlete perform exercises on it that would make them gasping for air and sweating like a pig. So I guess the TRX suspension trainer is pretty much for everybody from the total beginner who hasn't worked out in his or her life to the advanced professional athletes.
When I was doing research for this TRX trainer review I thought it was going to be difficult to figure out how to use the thing. But in the package the TRX suspension trainer comes in it contains detailed instructions on how to use it as well as training tips and a total body workout that anybody can use straight out of the box. A lot of times when I'm checking out the latest piece of fitness equipment they just throw the thing at you and they never fully explain how to use it and how to create a workout with it. But with the TRX trainer I was pleasantly surprised to see that they took the time to over deliver to the customer.
I'm hoping you've gotten something out of this TRX trainer review and it has helped you make up your mind with what you're looking to invest your money with. The one downside of the TRX suspension trainer was that it was seemingly expensive in the couple hundred-dollar range but when you look at the quality of the product it's really a fine piece of engineering. But make up your own mind and decide for yourself if the TRX trainer is worth the money or not.
