When it comes to losing weight, many people think that controlling their eating habits and checking diet intake is the must but fitness expert Rujuta Dinekar writes in her book 'Don't lose your mind, lose your weight', that, maintaining one's weight is about eating right food at the right time. She suggests her readers not to go for diet plan that deprive her/him of food or make the client eat only one type of food.
We should know what we gain from what kind of food and take a balanced diet which will help us gain energy, maintain immune system, boost moral attitude and maintain confidence. Protein, calcium, vitamins, minerals, fat and carbohydrates must be balanced as per the need of our body or otherwise we will lose all that we need to work and move ahead.
Next point to be noted is exercise. Exercise should not be a punishment but energizing activity that fights with the fat in the body and make you healthier and stronger. Running for hours or going to the gym and losing weight with controlled food intake will not only reduce one's weight but also reduces energy and confidence. This will not only take away the weight but also the charm of face and mental peace.
Your body type and health status will determine what kind of exercise you will be involved in. While choosing your fitness instructor, please keep in mind that you are not following someone who deprives you of food and challenges that you would lose pounds in few days or weeks time. Losing weight is not about doing some magic but it is a time consuming process to make you look and feel good inside out.
Meditating and listening to stuffs that make you feel special and important are other additional activities that will help you realize who you are. Yes you must remain fit and look great but greatness is not all about being slim but healthy and stronger to fight with all kind of physical, mental and emotional challenges. The most important thing is that you must love yourself and be just to yourself. Never ever underestimate or embarrass yourself with your own inferiority complex just because you are fat. If you are ready to lose your weight with maintaining energy and confidence, you will certainly do it and maintain your charm and self esteem.
Good Luck beautiful ladies and handsome guys!
