A Few Tips About The Lemonade Detox Diet

If you’re looking to lose weight fast, there’s no easier way than the lemonade detox diet. It’s a super easy, effective way to detox your body and drop any where from 10 to 20 pounds in as little as a month. Before you get started with this diet though, there’s a few tips you should know before hand to make it a better, safer diet for you.

The first thing that is really important for you to understand about this type of diet is that it is not a long term solution to weight loss. Since it’s a detoxification, it will simply help your body break lose all of the stored body fat you have lingering inside your body right now. Freeing up these storages of fat and then releasing them is how you will lose the weight, but it’s not something that you can continuosly do for months on end.

However many people, including myself do a lemon detox 2 or 3 times per year. The reason I do so many is simple, I like to eat junk food. Have your cake and eat it too, they say. Though I have never met any one who liked to have their cake and just look at it either! Doing a regular detox allows my body to flush out these impurities of fast food and unhealthy meals I like to indulge in.

Also when you try the lemonade detox you’ll notice that there are more benefits besides just the weight loss, you’ll also gain some energy, and my favorite is how smooth and healthy it leaves my skin feeling for months afterwards.

Before you get started though there’s a few things you should do. The first is weigh yourself so that you know exactly what weight you’re starting at, then once you’re done with the diet, weigh yourself again and see how well it worked for you. Not everyone does this, because weight loss isn’t always the most important thing for some people, but if it’s your reason for detoxing your body, you should do it.

It’s also important that when you’re on the diet to stick to the plan as best as you can. Don’t forget about it for a few days, or you’ll be hurting your progress big time.

Once you do your nightly flush, make sure you stay near a toilet for at least an hour, an hour and a half or even two hours to be really safe. You can’t do the flush in the morning and then expect to go to work afterwards, because if you do there’s a really good chance you’ll have an accident that you don’t want to ever experience. I haven’t done this, but I have heard of others who have. So after your flush, stay home for a few hours.

Another thing that is important to keep in mind is that you should always be drinking lots of water, even during this diet. Water is so important to your body and helps with the lemonade detox diet in so many ways. Keep a bottle of water around you, and drink as much as you like all day long. It’s also a great way to cure your hunger, because water naturally gives us that full feeling.
