If it's not something that you really want in the first place then you won't be able to stick to the plan and all your effort in this regard will go in waste. Never set goals which are too far or out of your reach as you probably won't commit to do so.

The Weight Loss goals that you're going to set need to be realistic for you so that it'll be easier for you to attain it. For example, if you're very fond of eating sweets then a goal of never again eating sweets, cakes, crisps and chocolate may not be realistic for you as you really enjoy these foods.

Try to set goals with a definite time limit because timing is very essential for anything and everything. For instance, if you aim to lose 6 pounds of weight within 4 weeks time by doing regular exercise then make sure you attain that goal within the specific time frame. If you are not setting time-specific goals then you may tend to bend the rules from time to time. So make proper use of time and effort to make weight loss a reality for you.
